Can I sell other companies products online for commission?

I am really looking for a career selling companies products online or even in person for commision. like outdoor gear and camping/hiking supplies or really just anything. I just have no idea how to go about it. I know its possible i just cant find any information on how to do it that doesnt seem like a scam website trying to get me to give them money. If anyone has any information on this i would love to know! Thank You

If you want to sell online, then sign up to an affiliate network such as paidonresults or affiliatewindow.
This way you have the benefit that all the companies have already been vetted by the affiliate agency, leaving you to just sell the products and pick up your commission. But be warned, you need a LOT of web traffic for it to be worthwhile, and you wont get that traffic unless your website offers something useful, rather than just a list of products to buy.

If you want to sell in person, then its easy to find companies selling cleaning products, cosmetics, etc. They often have people pushing catalogs through your door, and they pick up a percent of all sales they make. Really though, commission based sales is really the hardest way to make a consistent income.
